In Chapter 41 of the Tao Te Ching Lao Tzu proclaims "The bright path of Tao seems dim, going forward on the the curved road of Tao sometimes appears like retreat, the easy way of Tao seems rough, great purity seems soiled, real seems unreal"
Even though Tao is everywhere , even right in front of us few can see it
